News and Die-cast updates

August 14th: Sorry for the long delay in news and updates. If you do not know by now Gearbox has closed. There is a possibility of it being bought out and resuming production. I should know more by mid September on that. This also means that the Indianapolis Metro Police cars are stalled for now, along with the white Indiana State police cars and the Indiana Conservation Expeditions.

Marion County cars are going fast so make sure you get one.

October 10th: Hello everyone! Sorry for the long delay. I have been apprehensive about posting too much before I had enough information.

Gearbox is alive....sort of. What has happened is Hawk Models which is a subsidary of J Lloyd International has purchased Gearbox inventory and the toolings for the other cars. Hawk will begin a new line under their name making Crown Vics, Expeditions, and Chargers. No word on Impalas yet. Mike Fleckenstein is now with J Lloyd from Gearbox and will continue the great work he had done. I am hearing about four months until new cars come out. I have access to the Gearbox inventory and as some of you know have gotten some of it. Here's the link to the new Hawk Models Police page.

Metro cars will be made through them. I intend to continue the process with the white Indiana State Police cars as well as the DNR Expeditions. I will not be selling or ordering First Response lines as I once considered.

I will post new customs this week. Lawrence, Greenwood, Butler Univ. Police, Shelby County Ky. Sheriff.

October 16th: Just started the Gearbox Naval Ship page. Check it out. I will be taking orders on the USS Arizona, USS New Jersey, USS Hornet Carrier, USS Indianapolis, USS Missouri, and USS Intrepid. All will be $20.00 before shipping. Great Christmas gifts!!

All new Gearbox cars are posted. Las Vegas Paiute, Northern York PA, Colorado State, and Veterans Affairs.

November 10th: I have spoken with Mike from Hawk Models. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police cars will be the first cars to be released from them this spring. Followed thereafter by many un-produced cars that had been planned through Gearbox. Indiana State Police cars are around 14th in line to be made along with blanks of FCV's for now.

Hawk has also gotten licensing for the Chevrolet Impala as well as the Tahoe. We should all have plenty of different cars to choose from shortly. I'm hoping to keep the price of the Metro cars at $18.00 but I can't promise until I know what my cost will be.

Don't forget Christmas is coming up!!!
